At WGC, we follow the policies and guidelines of USA Gymnastics, our sport's governing body. We strive to provide each gymnast with a positive and encouraging atmosphere, where they can set and meet their goals; learning new skills, perfecting current skills, conditioning, team building and having fun are all part of our daily routine. All of our team coaches are professional members of USA Gymnastics, and are Safety Certified.

All smiles before the meet!
How Do I Get Selected for the Team? Each year in March or April we hold a team tryout, which is open to all of our enrolled students. It is our goal to mold WGC team members from within our gym family. We do, however, and on a case-by-case basis, accept gymnasts from outside of the gym. We do not encourage or condone the practice of "gym switching", but if there is a situation that cannot be resolved with your current gym (despite best efforts), or you have recently moved to our area, please do not hesitate to give us a call at (803) 432-2609.
What are the Practice Hours? Please contact the gym for more information about schedules and costs.

Great job to all of our Summerville & Easley competitors! Next meet(s): Beaufort & Spartanburg. GO WGC!
Parent's Club: WGC has a Parent's Club which was designed to foster unity amongst the team members and parents, and to facilitate fundraisers. Fundraisers help each gymnast raise funds to pay for team-related costs, such as uniforms & meet fees.
Meet Schedule: Team Wateree typically begins competing in December/January through April/May when our season culminates with States and/or Regionals. The number of meets attended varies, and depends upon level and athlete readiness.
