WGC’S AFTERSCHOOL CARE PROGRAM
Please do not wait to register, as spaces will fill quickly! For
the fall, we have only a certain number of spots on our bus, so please
register your child as soon as possible to ensure that they will have a
spot.
Take a moment to compare our program to other afterschool programs, and you will see that we can't be beat - come on in and check us out! Our program is year-round for your convenience! PROGRAM COSTS:
* Weekly Tuition is $75/child for drop-ins. Please note that there is no sibling discount for drop-ins, and that we do not provide bus transportation for drop-ins. * There is a $50 registration fee to enroll in our program for one child, or a $75 registration fee for families (more than one child). This amount is pro-rated throughout the year.
AFTERSCHOOL CARE HOURS: M - F 2:30 - 6:30 p.m. Pick-up after 6:30 p.m. is $1.00/minute. SUPPLEMENTARY CARE PROGRAM (during the school year): We understand that you may require additional care during school breaks, holidays, etc. As such, we offer Supplementary Care as follows: *If your child has a half-day off from school: add an additional $10 to your weekly rate. *If your child has a full-day off from school: add an additional $20 to your weekly rate. We also offer our Supplementary Care during Christmas Break and Spring Break in the form of fun-filled camps. If you require Supplementary Care during these breaks, you MUST register in advance. No shows will be charged. Supplementary Care Hours: Half-day: 11:00 - 6:30; Full-day: 7:30 - 6:30 **Please note that you must sign-up in advance for supplementary care. No-shows will be charged.** WGC CLOSINGS: *Labor Day (September 7th) *no care this day *Thanksgiving Break (November 26th & November 27th) *no care these days * Christmas Break (December 19th - January 1st, 2010) *come to camp! *Spring Break (April 5 - April 9th, 2010) *come to camp! *Memorial Day (May 25th, 2010) *no care this day ************ School-Year Camp Costs: Spring Break Camp: the cost is $110/week for full-time members; $135 for non-members (Dates of Camp set forth above under closings).
AFTERSCHOOL CARE PROGRAM POLICIES: * Absences/Bus Riding: You must notify us by 1:30 p.m. if your child will not, for any reason, be attending Afterschool Care on a given day. Please remember that we are driving our bus to pick-up your child - if they will not be at school, we do not want to waste valuable pick-up time by either driving to the school (some schools we pick up from only have one child on the bus) or by trying to locate your child. Please note that, with respect to absences from the program, each child is allowed one "free" week off per year - absences from school can count towards that week, as can vacation. The free week will be applied to all students in May, prior to summer enrollment. This week may not be applied towards notice for dropping from the program - it is for currently enrolled students only. If a child is seriously ill, however, please speak with the Owner regarding a billing adjustment. A doctor's note may be required for students who have been absent for more than 3 days. * Payment Policy: Each family must enroll in and pay by automatic draft by enrolling at the gym. Tuition is drafted on or about the 1st of each month. As a reminder, we base tuition on the number of Mondays in a given month. We do not discount in the event of the occassional illness or vacation day. You do not get charged for the days the gym is closed. If we offer camps and you wish to sign your child up, you would simply pay for the camp.
*Pick-Up Policy: Please provide a list of who may pick-up your child from the program. ID's will be checked. Afterschool Care Staff: Our Afterschool Care Program and Summer Camp Program is directed by Tiffany Vinkler and Jennifer Piasecki, gym owner. Other members of our staff include: Blake, Stephanie, Ms. Lenae, & Melissa. Our Afterschool Care Staff is highly trained and are either parents themselves, or possess training and/or degrees in early childhood education and related programs. Our managers are CPR certified.

We are now accepting registrations for the FALL 2010 - 2011 SCHOOL YEAR. 
WGC's Afterschool Care Program is open to all school children K5 - 7th grade. Students in our Program will receive structured homework assistance, free time in centers (arts & crafts, reading, games), supervised gym time, and a healthy snack each day. On holidays and during our summer program, we offer fun, supervised field trips and activities. For your convenience, we have ongoing enrollment in our Program. Need transportation from school to the gym? Call us - we pick-up from local schools (space available). Students enrolled at PINE TREE HILL ELEMENTARY receive school district busing to our facility. 
* Weekly Tuition is $50/child for full-time members. Siblings receive a 10% discount on fees. We bill tuition based upon the number of Mondays in each month. You do not get charged for days that the gym is closed, however, you are responsible for full payment for the week in the event of occasional absence due to illness, vacation, etc. (see Closings & Policies below for more details). 
*All full-time members get deeply discounted rates on gymnastics classes! For an additional $15/month (per child/per class), your child can enroll in the class of their choice (excluding Hot Shots, Team & All-Star Cheerleading).

*Food Allergy Alert: Please note that we are a peanut-free facility! Absolutely no nuts, peanuts, or peanut products are permitted in the gym. When packing a lunch, please remember this very important policy, as we have children enrolled with life-threatening peanut allergies. THANK YOU.
Be sure to call prior to registering to make sure we have room on the WGC bus for your child. For your child's safety, only members of our Afterschool Care staff drive the bus - no one under the age of 21 is permitted to drive the bus, and all drivers have safe, clean driving records.
