At Carolina STORM, our goal is to provide athletes with a top-notch cheer experience, while also helping them to develop strength, flexibility & confidence. We also teach the girls how to work together as a team. We are currently performing as a show squad while we develop our competitive team. At this time, we are looking for girls ages 7 and up who are excited to learn and who love cheerleading! You do not have to be an experienced cheerleader to join our squads. We will teach you everything you need to know to be a successful All-Star: you just need to bring your enthusiasm and willingness to work hard.
Our Squads work out three days per week - two days of cheer practice, and one day of tumbling (you get a choice of days). Our season runs year-round.

WHAT IS ALL-STAR CHEERLEADING?
Have you ever flipped through the channels to stop on ESPN and be mesmerized by cheerleaders performing awesome, synchronized stunts and acrobatic moves, all to hip music and sharp choreography? Chances are, you were watching All-Stars! While All-Star Squads do focus on stunts and routines, they are also more focused on gymnastics and acrobatic moves. In fact, All-Star cheerleading is a combination of gymnastics, acrobatics, dance and stunts. At our state-of-the-art training facility, your athlete will learn exciting skills in a fun, safe environment, supervised by our certified coaches - all of whom are former All-Stars and collegiate cheerleaders! Squads typically consist of 15-35 athletes, and are divided by age and ability, levels 1 - 5. Routines are 2 1/2 minutes in length with various elements of tumbling, stunts, jumps, dance and other skills that are choreographed to music. The routines are judged by their level of difficulty, precision, creativity, and entertainment value. As a member of our squad, your athlete will learn the latest "tricks", stunts, jumps, and tumbling to make her the **best** cheerleader she can be!
At this time, our Squad is performing as a show team as we continue to develop our competitive skills.
